Similar to the beloved Camry, the RAV4 has officially transitioned to a fully electrified line-up. While all RAV4 models will be hybrid, they can also be purchased in a Plug-in Hybrid. Availability for the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid is projected to be Spring of 2026, pricing will be defined closer to release date. The 2026 RAV4 model variations can now be defined by 3 different style identities: Core, Rugged, and Sport. Lets dive into each of these style identities and review some of the key points of each.

Core

The “Core” RAV4 models will include the LE, XLE Premium, and Limited grades. Each grade has a standard hybrid electric powertrain with the option of Front Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive. All Wheel Drive comes standard on the Limited grade RAV4.
