Our experience with Landon Burke at Toyota of Muscatine was a perfect example of the latter! My wife and I began looking for a new vehicle in July of this year. We weren’t in a hurry; we simply knew it was time for something new. Our research pointed us toward Toyota, and for good reason. I purchased a new Corolla back in 2010, and over approximately 340,000 miles, that car proved to be nothing short of exceptional. Toyota had certainly earned our trust! We visited dealerships in Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Clinton, and Davenport in search of that elusive Toyota RAV4. At all five locations, we encountered the same two challenges. First, finding a vehicle actually on the lot to see in person, let alone take for a test drive, was nearly impossible. Second, the message from salespeople was pretty consistent: put down a deposit, be prepared to take whatever vehicle became available next, and expect a wait of three months or more. Custom-ordering a vehicle the way we wanted it? That seemed to be a long shot at best. And then came one Saturday morning and a phone call to Toyota of Muscatine. By Monday, I had an email from Landon confirming that our RAV4 had been ordered exactly the way we wanted it. No unnecessary bells and whistles. No expensive top-of-the-line trim package we didn’t need. Just the right vehicle, equipped the way WE wanted it. Even better, the estimated delivery time was around four weeks, five at the most! From that point forward, Landon kept us informed with weekly updates. The paperwork was handled online, making the entire process smooth, convenient, and refreshingly simple. No running back and forth to the dealership. No guessing what was happening. No wondering whether anyone had forgotten about us. And before we knew it, we were in Muscatine picking up our brand-new Toyota RAV4 XLE! We couldn't be happier with our vehicle or the experience that brought us to it.
