The warning lights that populate on the dash of your Toyota vehicle is the most direct way that your vehicle can communicate with you. It is important to understand what these lights mean so you can keep your Toyota running as intended by the manufacturer. Warning lights can range from a simple seatbelt reminder, all the way to a check engine light. Let's review the most common warning lights that are found in Toyota vehicles.
Master Warning Light
A buzzer sounds and the warning light flashes to indicate that the master warning system has detected a malfunction.
Seatbelt Reminder Light
Warns the driver and/or passenger to fasten their seat belts.
VSC OFF Indicator
Push and hold the switch while the vehicle is stopped to turn off TRAC and VSC. The TRAC OFF indicator light and VSC OFF indicator light should come on. Push the switch again to turn the system back on.
Low Fuel Level Warning Light
Warns the driver and/or passenger to fasten their seat belts.
Charging System Warning Light
Indicates a malfunction in the vehicle's charging system.
Headlight High-Beam Indicator
Indicates that the headlight high beams have been switched on.
Low Engine Oil Pressure Warning Light
