- First RAV4 available with electronic rear driveline disconnect, which means only the front wheels are being powered when AWD isn't needed, which helps improve fuel economy for AWD-equipped models
- Torque vectoring system - meaning the system improves handling with AWD in use and sending power to the rear wheels as needed
- Adventure grade offers "Multi-Terrain Select" drive mode for more of that rugged off-roading
- Standard Toyota SafetySense features such as pre-collision with pedestrian detect, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist and road sign assist, and lane-keeping assist
- New Entune 3.0 comes with wi-fi connect, Amazon Alexa and Apple CarPlay - Android Auto hopefully available in the future!
